Best mobile phone on the market

As we approach Christmas I'm sure a lot of people are wondering what the best mobile phone on the market is at this moment. In my mind there are three that stand out that should be on your radar, which would make an amazing Christmas gift.
The first option is the iconic iPhone and their latest release the iPhone 5

It is hard to accurately describe, but there is just something special about Apple products whether it be their Macbooks, their phones or their iPads. When you use them you will

Cost to Build a Website

A lot of people who I have talked to have asked me what to expect in regards to the cost to build a website. Most people who are in the market for a new website either for their personal use or business use will go down the road of searching Google and getting overwhelmed by all the options and different costs individuals and companies are charging for a website build. So i thought I would break the process down into an easy to understand article for you, which will explain the key things that

Youtube Mistake #3 – Skimping on the video description

Each YouTube video can be 5,000 characters long. This text is also indexed, so there are many opportunities to use words people search for. A little keyword research, like looking at Google’s suggestions or related search terms while you are searching, will give you lots of terms to use.

Make the description readable, compelling and engaging. Your description can be a mini-ad that accompanies the video’s message, perhaps a transcript of the speaker’s presentation, or more information

Hey fellow eMarketers just a quick update to mention that my favorite Analytics Android app has finally been updated with real time data.

This is big news for the app as real time data was the only reason that I kept the official Google Analytics Android app before.

However I will probably still keep it to see how the big G responds to this quality and now updated Analytics app.

The Leith Cycle Co in Edinburgh has also got my attention along with the other cycle companies I have reviewed mainly because of its high placement in Google map results. So well done on that!

When I landed on the website I was presented with a clean and basic layout, which has always shown to increase engagement online. I also really like the picture they have of their shop, which really does look like a great place to visit.

Youtube Mistake #1 – Poor Choice of Video Title

The video’s title is one of the most important considerations when putting up a video. The name should describe the video and reflect your keywords, product, service or the problem the video addresses. The title is indexed (meaning searching lets people find it by name) and, if the title is something people look for, you have a good chance of being found.

The video title should also have your phone number in it. When your video comes up in a search, the entire title is high-lit, and having

Conversion Mistake Five: A Failure To Communicate

Your customers don’t want to deal with faceless, anonymous web sites. They want to deal with real people like you, not a website.

You need to ‘get real’. Make sure you have contact information, including your address, phone number, even social profiles and links to free report landing pages on your main site.

Conversion Mistake Four: Sending Visitors Off Your Site

Once you get people to your site, you want to keep them there, on your ‘money page’, until they pick up the phone, fill out a form, or click the ‘Buy’ button. Offer as few distractions at this point as possible – focus on converting this visitor into your next customer.

Navigation links, YouTube videos and related blog posts are all great ways to get people to your site. That is their purpose – to bring people to your sales page.

But once they are on your site, the rules

Conversion Mistake 3: No clear next action

When a visitor arrives at your site, they have no idea what you want them to do. You have to tell them what it is you want from them by giving them a clear next action to take. Each page has a desired outcome and you need to let them know what you expect them to do and why it is in their interests to do so.

Too many people write in ‘passive voice’ instead of ‘active voice’. They start sentences with ‘If you are interested in…’ or other ‘soft’ language. They are afraid of

Conversion Mistake 2: Hiding Important Information

As we said before, if people can’t find what they want quickly, they will move on quickly. They won’t hunt for what they need on your page – put it out front for them, where they can find it. Decide what your page is supposed to say to your customer, and then say it. The most common mistake in this area for local businesses is not having a telephone number clearly displayed on every page of the website.
